"As a region, we recognized
that one community could no longer realistically
attract industry on it's own. We felt that we could
no longer look for companies to settle in our communities
in isolation of each other. As a region, it was
felt we could attract, maintain and serve industry
better as a collective group. As a group, we have
many advantages to offer from human resources, raw
materials and ingenuity."
