Police Killarney is the headquarters for the local R. C. M. P. detachment. For general inquiries please contact 523-7293, while complaints and emergencies should be directed to 523-7255 (or use the 911 emergency call service). Staff sergeant: Ted Knight.

		Fire Killarney maintains a fire department comprised of anywhere from 12 to 20 local volunteer firefighters. Located in the Civic Office at 415 Broadway Avenue, the volunteer operation has been providing quality fire protection for the community for decades.

Tri-Lake Health Centre Killarney is a regional centre for the delivery of health and community services. The Tri-Lake Health Centre, a modern facility with an attached personal care wing, offers the best in medical care, 24-hour emergency service, a lab, and state-of-the-art x-ray unit. This is also the site for MBTelehealth, which links patients from southwest Manitoba to specialists from across the province with live video and audio. Doctors, dentists, optometrists and a chiropractor serve the medical needs of the area in well-established practices. Ancillary services include two pharmacists, a physiotherapist, licenced masssage therapist and a dietician. The public health unit oversees community care from prenatal classes through to home care for the elderly.

		School Killarney Collegiate Institute, located at 417 King Avenue in Killarney, is operated by the Turtle Mountain School Division. With a student enrolment approaching 700 and approximately 40 teaching staff, KCI is the largest K-12 school in rural manitoba. To contact, phone 523-4696. Principal: Terry Beazley.

Adult Education Located in the Kilman Block at 411 Broadway Avenue, the Turtle Mountain Adult Education Centre has been in operation since 1998, providing quality educational opportunities to adult students of all ages. To contact phone 523-4492. Principal: Catherine Carlisle.

		Campus Manitoba Also located in the Kilman Block at 411 Broadway Avenue, the Killarney Campus Manitoba Site offers University and College-level education via interactive online technology. Site Coordinator: 523-4492
